Vision
To learn to realize interconnected, sustainable, spirit-filled community.
To cultivate connections with others that open and support us to become more of who we truly are as individuals, in relationships and as community.
To provide ongoing support and networking for a group that wants to apply and embody the Matrix model, and potentially outgrow its need for paid facilitation.
Format
The group will meet every other week for 2 hours. Each two-hour session will
include the following components:

1. Re-Sourcing: experiential practices and exercises to
Align with the Divine
Cultivate embodied, heart-centered connection
2. Matrix Group: Learning through our Connections
3. Reflection and Integration
We will also schedule half-day retreats every 3 or 4 months as needed to enhance the group’s development and capacity.

Objectives
To enhance our capacity to love and be loved.
To create conscious community and have fun!
Develop a ground of health through ordinary present-time connection
Become more conscious of, and responsible for, our impact on others
Cultivate mindfulness of groups/communities as whole living systems
Engage in creative dialogue; transform differences into synergy
Differentiate from limiting beliefs, behaviors, roles, identities, and stories rooted in our biographies, lineage, and culture
Expand our range of expression in human relationships
Open to being changed/moved by something greater than ourselves
Free ourselves from the trance of separation, isolation, and disconnection
Group Composition and Commitment
The group is open to individuals of all identities, including gender, age, ability, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, religious heritage, etc.
Previous Matrix experience and interest in developing an on-going matrix of connections is preferred.
Pre-group interviews will be scheduled
An initial four-month (8 session) commitment is required
Facilitators
Amina Knowlan, MS, Co-director and Trainer, co-founded Matrix Leadership in 1990. She has been working with groups as a trainer, consultant and facilitator for 30 years and currently considers herself a social artist and spiritual-somatic life coach. She was a trainer for the Hakomi Institute for Body-Centered Psychotherapy for 15 years and an owner / practitioner in Wellspring, Partners in Health—a holistic medical clinic—for 15 years. She incorporates somatic, energetic, and intuitive approaches as well as dance, movement, voice, art, and practices of mindfulness into her work. She also leads retreats for women entitled Fully Embodied Woman: Remembering the Sacred Feminine.
Raven Wells, Co-director and Trainer for Matrix Leadership Institute, has been involved with MLI for the past seven years. He currently works as consultant for Shifting Culture and facilitates psychotherapy process groups. He has a background as a climbing guide and in back-country youth-at-risk programs. Raven had a private psychotherapy practice for five years specializing in trauma recovery. He served as an assistant trainer for Hakomi Integrative Somatics and facilitated for Trauma Dynamics Institute. He also spent five years facilitating teenage addiction recovery classes for Boulder County Probation.
Fees: $50 / bi-monthly session; $80 for half-day retreats
